T34 CAT
Mokaccino · 2024
The T34 CAT introduces a new concept of life on the water, combining the versatility of a superyacht tender with the comfort and sociability of a floating island.
Designed by OYA Studio and Alessandro Vismara and built by Tuccoli Marine, this power catamaran reinterprets the traditional boat layout through generous open spaces, adaptable platforms and a strong focus on usability. Conceived for both practical transfers and leisure activities, it offers a new way to experience the sea, bringing people together in a flexible and unconventional environment.
PROJECT
The design is centred on maximising the usable space and adapting the boat to different situations. Five deployable terraces extend the living area beyond the hulls: two at the stern, two at the bow and one positioned on the bow front. These platforms create new areas for relaxation, socialising and direct access to the water.
The innovative bow ladder further enhances accessibility, making it easier to enter the water or reach the shore. The twin-hull configuration also accommodates dedicated internal spaces within each hull, providing facilities for a bathroom and a galley.
DESIGN APPROACH
The deck transforms between navigation and relaxation modes. In navigation mode, all five hull openings remain closed, while three central jockey seats provide secure and supportive seating for passengers during transfer runs.
At anchor, the five deployable terraces open outwards, dramatically expanding the usable deck area and transforming the T34 CAT into a spacious floating island for socialising and enjoying the sea.
